We are committed to taking all reasonably practicable steps to minimise those impacts and meet or exceed the relevant environmental legal requirements appropriate to our activities in UK and in any countries where we operate.
The Directors continue to review and monitor all business operations and, wherever possible, reduce environmental impact. Two senior members of the management team hold recognised qualifications in sustainability and noise pollution, and we promote awareness to employees and suppliers to ensure they adhere to our environmental responsibilities. We are currently prioritising the following areas:
Transport and Mechanical Plant: We have developed and implemented a “green” strategy for our vehicles and mechanical plant, whether owned, hired or contracted. We have now installed EV charging points for our fleet of fully electric vehicles and we are working toward charging these utilising renewable energies. We run the cycle-to-work-scheme to encourage employees to make healthier and more environmentally friendly lifestyle choices.
Resource Management: We reduce our consumption by utilising energy efficient equipment and adopting effective and efficient working practices. We minimise the amount of waste generated and ensure correct handling of all recyclable waste is carried out correctly.
Noise Pollution: We recognise that our systems must provide adequate sound levels for to meet our clients’ requirements, but we also recognise that sound can be a nuisance. We seek to design systems and source technologies that minimise the impact of sound outside the target audience area.

RG Jones is like no other in the industry; some of the best names today have grown up through it’s ranks. We work closely with colleges to continue offering work experience to the next generation to sound engineers, many of who have gone on to join our team.
We are active members of our trading estate, offering free services to local businesses raising money for charity and attending meetings to improve waste and reduce traffic.
Our staff are encouraged to get involved with fund raising projects, last year employees completed a 45m bike ride and completed a half marathon.
We are involved with an “FA” (For All) scheme to offer help to community venues in underprivileged areas.
