AV Service and Maintenance Engineer

On-site service and maintenance of AV systems. On site AV installation, removal and repair of equipment.

Basic Salary: Competitive

Location: You will work from the main office and on site both across the UK and abroad.

  • On-site emergency service calls providing first line fault diagnostics and repair.
  • On-site preventative maintenance calls.
  • Testing and checking AV systems and elements including onsite and offsite work.
  • Loading, wiring and testing of equipment racks prior to installation.
  • On-site installation of AV, general assistance with the system installation, programming and commissioning.
  • To provide an accurate written record of works.
  • To liaise with clients regarding system requirements and upgrades
  • To adhere to high standards in Health and Safety practices.

  • A good knowledge and understanding of PA systems, projection and display systems, AV control systems, digital audio systems and IP network systems.
  • Good customer service communications skills, verbal and written.

Technical and Logistics Manager

Management and supervision of technical and logistical requirements for the Sales and Installations Department

  • Responsible for creation and management of AV systems, maintenance contracts, ascertaining and satisfying general customer requirements, day to day department logistics including: engineer scheduling, stock management, CRM database operation and process development, staff training management, H&S compliance, project support, costings and budgets
  • Technical support to sales team
  • Liaison with department staff, customers, consultants, architects, builders, sub-contractors and suppliers
  • Liaison with clients and engineers to ensure accurate diagnosis and resolution of equipment failure/faults.
  • Contribute to the technical design and delivery of projects.
  • Build and maintain relationships with suppliers/partners.
  • Responsible for booking engineers, plant, access and vehicle requirements.
  • Responding to client requests.
  • After sales support and contribution to high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Preparation and presentation of tenders, proposals and RAMS.
  • Preparation of project documentation including O&M manuals and technical submissions.
  • Technical support to all areas of the company

 


  • Interest in maintaining and expanding knowledge of technical developments and changes within the AV industries.

Rental Warehouse Manager

Management and supervision of rental warehouse

  • Equipment maintenance, being able to assess and identify faults with cable/equipment and to source parts for repair
  • Maintaining the hire department rental management system Current RMS. checking jobs are checked in and out correctly, maintaining barcodes and completing jobs.
  • Maintaining a clean and tidy warehouse space.
  • Maximising storage and utilising the database to add stock locations and making sure it’s returned to correct place.
  • Assisting with rigging inspection and yearly PAT testing
  • Overall presentation of warehouse and yard space
  • Taking responsibility of deliveries across hire department and adding stock to the database ready for rental.
