Speeches were held in the Yard and a documentary introduced by Sir David Attenborough was shown in the East Crypt showcasing the dedicated work of many, including volunteer groups, who have made the Thames one of the cleanest inner-city rivers in Europe.  The extraordinary Magic Tap was also on display demonstrating the growing links between technology and recycling as the City of London pledges to become plastic free. RG Jones Director and Liveryman for the WC of Water Conservators remained onsite throughout discussing the targets and objectives of focus.

  • To use water wisely
  • What not to put down the drain
  • Plastic waste in rivers and oceans.

“Water is an increasingly stressed resource and one of the key challenges of the 21st century” explains RG Jones Director, Andrew Williamson “Businesses have a responsibility to highlight this as a key area in their CSR and commit to educating their stakeholders to do the same.  We work for a number of high profile clients who share our passion, and we will continue to re-evalute how we can do even more to improve our water reduction.
