New Digico Consoles Head Straight Out On Tour

At the heart of every unforgettable live performance is great sound, and we’re excited to announce a major upgrade to our touring setup: two brand-new DiGiCo Quantum326 mixing consoles – delivering even greater power, precision, and clarity to our productions.

When the DiGiCo Quantum338 debuted at the 2020 NAMM Show, it drew an unprecedented crowd, marking the beginning of its global success in both touring and fixed installations. Responding to feedback from audio professionals seeking a more compact alternative, DiGiCo introduced the Quantum326 at PLASA—retaining the power of its predecessor while optimizing for touring productions with tighter logistics constraints.

Many audio professionals have asked us for a smaller version of the Quantum338, (with zero compromises), so we’ve had our R&D team deliver exactly that,” says DiGiCo Managing Director Austin Freshwater. “Aside from having one less screen and a dozen fewer faders, the Quantum326 remains an incredibly powerful, versatile, and robust desk, extending our full Quantum experience to smaller performance spaces and touring productions.

A Perfect Fit

The Quantum326 is designed with touring in mind, offering a compact yet powerful solution for productions that need top-tier audio quality while working with space and logistical constraints. It delivers seamless connectivity, crystal-clear sound, and user-friendly control, making it a perfect choice for live shows that demand precision and flexibility.

With 128 input channels, 64 busses, and a 24×24 matrix, the console ensures that every performance sounds its best. The dual high-brightness touch screens provide an intuitive interface for engineers, while advanced Stadius 32-bit ADC and DAC conversion guarantee pristine sound quality. And for those looking to expand, the optional Pulse software upgrade increases processing capabilities, offering more input channels, busses, and enhanced audio control.

Jack Bowcher, Head of BIG Sound Live at RG Jones, shared his thoughts on the upgrade: “The Quantum326 gives us all the power we need in a more compact footprint, making it ideal for our touring productions. The sound quality is outstanding, and having this level of flexibility on the road makes a huge difference.”
